Welcome to Introduction to Blackwork: Strawberries, a warm and beginner-friendly course designed to help you build confident hand-stitching skills while creating a beautiful embroidery inspired by the English countryside. You’ll learn the essentials of setting up your fabric in a hoop, transferring a simple design, and working core Blackwork techniques to create the strawberries. Step by step, I’ll guide you through core embroidery techniques to create a finished piece you’ll be proud to display or gift. This program is ideal if you’re completely new to Goldwork embroidery but have some stitching experience, are returning after a break, or looking to strengthen your foundations with clear instructional videos. By the end, you’ll have a completed embroidery and the skills to continue stitching with confidence on your own projects. This course covers: 1. Preparing the fabric and transferring the design 2. Working filling stitch one 3. Working filling stitch two 4. Couched outline 5. Back stitch leaves You will receive access to an instruction booklet, design template and pre-recorded instructional videos which have subtitles. You will have access to the course for 366 days, the extra day is to allow time for me to grant your account access to the website.
